In this immersive, one-day class, you’ll explore the beauty and versatility of a expansive color palette while developing your portrait skills. The morning begins with an in-depth demonstration and guided instruction from Shawn, where you’ll learn key techniques for mixing harmonious and vibrant skin tones, building form, and capturing expression.

After lunch, you’ll put your new skills into practice with a three-hour, single-sitting portrait in oil—an invigorating exercise in observation, speed, and confidence.
